In Assassin's Creed:Altair Chronicles she's known as a piece of eden the Chalice Altair seemed to have known her before the events of this game.It is also revealed in Assassin's Creed II in Codex page 7 he later caught up with her holding her lifeless body in his arms.But there is some speculation that she isn't the piece of eden she just merely holds it as seen when Altair was ordered to retrieve it only to find an empty case.
