How can you tell if you have a video card

There are two types graphical interfaces: on board and discreet.


On board is inferior to discreet because it doesn't use dedicated components, thus using shared resources from other components. Discreet is the opposite of on board, is expandable and the easier one to notice once you open up your computer case.


All computers and laptops have graphics cards, interfaces.


Right Click on My Computer, Manage, Device Manager.
Your graphics card or interface should be under...DISPLAY ADAPTERS


Mine displays NVIDIA Geforce 7600 GS...
