What is the best video game ever made
Some Answers from Users

According to gamerankings.com, the best video game to be ever reviewed is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, made by Nintendo in 1998.
No doubt, if you ask a well-rounded gamer, they will most likely say that the Ocarina of Time was probably the best video game of all-time. In the hearts of many, Ocarina of Time is considered to be the world's best video game, not just because it had one of the best story lines, but the fact that it changed the face of video-gaming forever using a three dimensional, walk anywhere and do pretty much anything platform. The Ocarina of Time format has influenced many games later, too, so it left an indelible mark in video gaming history.

This depends entirely on who you ask, what poll was taken and who took it - etc. IGN rates "Super Mario Brothers" as the top video game of all time. Stuff Magazine says "Half life 2" Entertainment Weekly says "Tetris" and needless to say everyone who answers here will put in a plug for their favorite. Personally I think there should be a new category for things like this, a Video Game hall of Fame - with no 'one' in charge, but a group.

It depends what your like. you can use fighting, shooting, or action game to release anger. If you feel smart and happy, probably RPG or The rest.
This is all dependent on your, for lack of a better word, 'taste' when it comes to games. Party, leisure, and non-hardcore gamers like the Wii, shooting game enthusiasts like the Xbox 360 for various reasons, and general variety gamers tend to choose the PS3. That's just the way it seems to work.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is often praised as the best video game ever, and it probably is. This is because of all the gaming milestones it made; Lock-On targeting, its graphics... It really is a great gaming experience, and probably IS the best game ever.

Also, if you liked this game, you might also like the game called Okami, another adventure game.

But, this question depends on the type you like. There is actually more than 1 best video game ever.

(Not in particular order)
1. Infamous - There is an electric explosion, you control Cole, a man ridden with electric powers, you have to find a man called John... Very good game and amazing graphics!
2. Fallout 3 - A future horror apocalyptic role playing game, you live in a vault and your dad runs away, you set off to find your dad. You have a very good karma system in the game so you can go, good bad good etc. Outstanding game with BLOODY good graphics :D
3. Half Life 2 - You play as Gordon Freeman, an unfortunate scientist who has to try and save the world, not the best for the graphics hunting gamer, but has amazing graphics!
4. Bioshock - A game where Rapture gets overrun by psycho people and plasmids - genetical modification liquid that allows you to cast horrific spells from lightning bolt to releasing swarms of hornets from your very own wrists!

Ouch...Tough one. Well, the video game I find most immersing is World of Warcraft for the PC. A few problems though...

1. Fifteen bucks a month.
2. Extremely addicting.
3. De-socializes you.

I myself am a former WoW addict, and let me tell you, it was not easy to quit. I bought myself a PlayStation 3 and I love it. I am waiting for Resistance 2, it will be awesome! So I recommend a PS3; it's the future of gaming. There are plenty of good games for it; Heavenly Sword, Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty 4, Ratchet Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and more to come out.

The top 10 best games of all time are:

10. The Simpsons: Hit and Run (PS2) ESRB: T
9.Guitar Hero II (PS2) ESRB: T
8. Kingdom Hearts (PS2) ESRB:E10
7. Call of Duty 3 (multi) ESRB: T
6. Scribblenauts (DS) ESRB:E10
5. Wii Fit Plus (Wii) ESRB: E
4. Final Fantasy XII (PS2/XBOX) ESRB: T
3. Star Wars Battlefront II(multi) ESRB: T
2. Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) ESRB: T
1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3/360) ESRB:

Halo Reach is by far the greatest game in the world. I could consider that Call of Duty makes a good second place though. Here are my top 6 games of all time:
1. Red dead redemption
2. Halo Reach
3. Call of Duty Modern Warfare/Black Ops
4. Assassins Creed Brother Hood
5. Star Wars Force Unleashed 2
6. Super Smash Bros Brawl

These are some of the highest rated games, but everyone has there own opinions.
Currently, there are over 10 million gamers for PS3 and Xbox 360 currently for modern warfare 2. Clearly, that tops almost every video game in the world. So therefore, it must be the "best video game in the world."

I would have to agree on the ocarina of time opinion. But also I would probably say that Final Fantasy VII (PS1!) and Final Fantasy X (PS2) Mainly for the epic Story! Call of duty Modern Warfare because of the fact on how it changed the way we look and play fps's. Same with portal.

I would have to agree with whoever said halo reach. The story line is wonderful and firefight (multiplayer game (can also be played on single player)) has upgraded from Halo: Odst. But over all I like the fact you can change the types of armor now. If you are going to get a new game, I would invest in Halo: Reach. The only down fall is that it's only on Xbox 360.
