How do you unlock characters on Cell Damage Overdrive

You must do all levels of races, flag and battle mode to unlock the characters in Cell Damage Overdrive. If you want to unlock a specific character and not another, then do one set of three and not the other ones. (it works with two or three as well). You can also use cheat codes, if you're desperate.
