How are video games violent

most games that are made have some sort of violence. they range from comical to utter carnage.
the rateing on the games give an idea what that game has they range E to AO

E (everyone) has little to no violence in them, these games are made for family and younger kids (Spyro the dragon, Pac-man)

T (teen) these games are the most common games and made for kids 13+ these games have some blood but do not have carnage and gore. a good example are the final fantasy games. when you kill in these there is no blood and the body wont stay there very long before it desolves into nothingness

M (mature) made for 18+ these games are the better known and have more blood and death, the top games in this category are Halo, Call of duty, and Assassins creed. your goal in these games are to kill the bad guys and do it fast. these games also have the mutiplayer online so you can face other players all over the world.

the last rating you will NEVER see in stores, i myself think these games are disturbing on to many levels. the AO (adults only) are the most Grotius games ever made and because of that cant be sold on the open market. i would prefer to not go any further then that.
