What is assasins creed brotherhood about

It begins right after the ending of Assassin's Creed 2. The game is ultimately you, as Ezio, trying to find the location of the Apple of Eden... although the first few sequences of the game are mostly about Ezio arriving in Rome and stirring up a rebellion.
