How long does it take you to get to level 100 in gears 2

Probably over a year or so if you are a rookie. You will get raped so easily by the pros in the beginning so it takes some time before you manage to handle them. That's what happened with me anyway. But it changes from player to player. Some have tremendous skill from begin with plus since im guessin you are gonna play other games as well during this time.That is another reason why it takes so long. That is the best answer you can get because Gears of War plays on will to survive tactics and knowing each map from inside out in you're head.
