How do you Unlock Mario in SM64DS

to unlock Mario you must first collect 8 power stars as Yoshi.after that go to the mini game room.go to the door that has a number 8 on it.go inside that room and you will find a painting of Mario.jump inside the painting.you will be in world full of goombas.there is also a secret star.to get that star u must first collect 8 red coins.but you to unlock Luigi and Wario.to get to Mario you have to climb up the vine while you try to avoid Lakitu.go up the bridge being gaurded by goombas.after you pass the bridge jump inside the hole and you face Goomboss.to defeat him,you have to swallow goombas and spit them at Goomboss.once you do this 3 times like in most Mario games a key with a red hat will appear.get the and go to the room with the doors and the slide.go to Mario's room and VIOLA!you got Mario!hope this helps.oh,you know that some people think Waluigi is the game?o_0 weird huh.oh,and another thing.when you start your SM64DS game.press start and it will take you to file select.look at the left side of the castle you will see a box.AKA 2D black box.could it be a glitch?could Nintendo forget to put it in the game?who knows.you cant break it with a cannon.anyway hope this helps.
