How do you beat Catomania online

The short animated game "Catomania" is available through online sites such as FunnyGames (NZ).

The object of the game is to use the available items to beat up the cartoon cat. There is an introduction with a mouse chasing cheese, and then two main scenes. In each scene, you have five tries to complete the challenge. Any error results in the cat attacking you and getting away, and resets to the start of the scene.

Scene One
In the first scene you have 6 items along the bottom of the screen, corresponding to 6 activities on the game screen. These must be activated in order (right to left) at the appropriate time as the cat crosses the screen. Some are more flexible but all require good timing.
1. Springboard - click on icon when cat is on the springboard
-- throws him across the screen to the left, into the cook pot
2. Match - click when cat is in the pot
-- starts a fire under the kettle, boiling the water so that cat jumps up
3. Boxing Glove - click when cat is airborne and in front of the glove
-- punches cat across scene to right, passing over tub of water
4. Anvil - click to attach anvil to cat when he is above the tub
-- drags him down into the tub of water
5. Electric Fan - click when the cat is in the water
-- falls into tub, giving the cat a nasty electric shock
6. Switch - click when cat arrives at the red X on the floor
-- squishes cat into a can of "cat-flavored dog food" -- Completes scene.

Scene Two
Start by clicking spacebar. Cat walks across from right to left, then left to right alternately. There are six new items, again used right to left.
1. Garden Hose - click when cat's head passes in front of the small rock
-- hoses cat down
2. Hornet's Nest - click as cat passes underneath
-- drops nest onto cat's head and he runs around frantically, then moves right
3. Lumberjack Axe - click when cat crosses the wooden handle
-- chops down tree at left, smashes cat into a hole in the ground
4. Box of Birdseed - use when cat completely reaches the box while crossing left
-- scatters seed on cat, who is then pecked by birds as he flees down to right
5. Dog Bone - click when cat resumes walking to left (be ready to click 6)
-- Bulldog chases cat rapidly to the right across "grass covered trap"
6. Grass-covered Trap - click as cat runs from bulldog (fairly quick)
-- loops cat with rope, hangs him from tree where kid flails away at cat with a baseball bat, like a piñata. (Completes game)
