On fallout does your dad die

SPOILER WARNING:


In Fallout 3, yes, your father does die. He is confronted by the Enclave at Project Purity and they are going to take control of it. To stop them, your father releases a lethal amout of radiation into the area, killing the Eclave soldiers in there, but also sacrificing himself in the process.
