What is a witch on left 4 dead

A witch is a special zombie, that randomly spawns somewhere in the map. She will sit on the ground crying until someone gets too close, shoots her, shoots near her, or shines their light at her. Upon any of these events occurring, she will viciously attack the survivor that startled her, dealing massive damage and will cause the survivor to need to be helped up almost instantly.
