How many videogames are there

too many to count, from Space Wars (c), all the way to Assassin's Creed 2, there have been anywhere from few, to millions of videogames produced each year, causing the total number to increase each year, causing it to be very hard to even know how many have been created over all, and that doesn't even include home-brewed games and ROM hacks.
