Its completely on you.I would say buying a Gaming PC might save you from all the headache you might get while assembling your PC but if you have done it before then go for it.You should know what to look in a device or hardware piece to compare it with others and buy the best.Like a GPU with more memory is not always good. Make sure you are choosing the right hardware and make sure you are choosing compatible things.
MAKING YOUR BUILDING PROCESS EASY:
Look For A PC you like ex Alienware or HP that got gaming capabilities.
See what components are installed in it.
Look for the part that you might replace according to your choice.
Like you can decrease the GPU selection from lets say 4 gb to 2 gb or so.
Like increase RAM If you want.
Choose your screen size.
Choose your mother board with care.Make sure which ports are important and which will make it a good faster PC. Make sure the motherboard at least have the latest required ports compatible with the latest hardware.
Then you can choose a processor of your choice .i5 will do the job.

Well if you have experience in building a gaming PC then go for it,
it's better then buying a PC that you're just paying for the brand.
Say I buy a Alienware for 1200$ you could probably build a PC with
the same specs for a few hundred cheaper.
