The various ways to die in Leisure Suit Larry-In the land of the Lounge Lizards include;
Walking into the road, walking to the "Bad Alley", flushing the toilet at Lefty's, leaving the taxi without paying, not having enough in your wallet to pay for the taxi, entering the taxi with alcohol in your inventory, stealing from store, repeatedly annoying the club bouncer, not using a 'lubber', licking the lady of the night, leaving Lefty's without removing the 'lubber', trying to reach the pills without using a rope, and eating the pills. Larry will also commit suicide if it reaches midnight.

The Reloaded version of the game offers a few more possible deaths. You end up with three pieces of rope, using too short a rope or too long will kill you when you try to get the pills. Also the final part of the game requires you to float from the penthouse deck of one building to another using a helium-filled blow-up doll. The doll must be repaired using a bicycle repair kit first, or it will deflate halfway across and Larry will die.
