How do you play portal 2

Protal 2 involves you using the left and right buttons/triggers of your mouse/controller to create two portals, which allow you to get to unaccessable areas easily, as you progress through the game, you have to think more about the placement of your portals, as there are jump-pads to position portals over, blocks and spheres to pick up and move around, turrets to destroy or block, bridges to move and jump on etc. It's really just brain power and thinking that'll help you, probably trial and error too.
