How do you unlock Characters in Sonic and all-stars racing transformed

To Unlock AGES. He /She is in World Tour Mode: Superstar Showdown win Ranger Rush (Sprint). Then you get him for 165 stars or more. To get Alex Kidd, You can't get him in World Tours. Or get him in Grand Prix Mode. He Unlocks as a present for you on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2012. or later.
This has been confirmed on Xbox 360, PS3 & Wii U. To unlock him Early, follow the steps.
1. Exit the game to the Xbox/PS3/Wii U Menu.
2. Go to settings.
3. Go to Calendear.
4. Change the date to 12, 25, 2012 or later into the furture.
5. Choose Ok.
6. Exit Settings
7. Choose The Sonic All Star Racing Transformed Game.
8. Load the Game.
9. Press Start to Start the Game and he is now unlocked.
Tip: He will be unlocked if you see this message. "Happy Holidays from Sega. Alex Kidd Joined The race" To unlock Amigo, He is In World Tour Mode: Sunshine Coast. Win Studio Scrapes (Versus). Then you unlock him for 8 Stars or more.
To unlock Danica Patrick. She is in World Tour Mode: Frozen Valley. Win Pirate Plunder (Race) Then you unlock her for 16 stars or more. To unlock Dr. Eggman you have to win all five mirrored Grand Prix cups. Then you Unlock him. (This also unlocks the Expert Difficulty).To unlock Gilius Thunderhead. He is in In World Tour Mode: Moonlight Park. Win Molten Mayhem (Ring Race). Then you can unlock him for 120 Stars or more. To unlock Gum She In World Tour Mode: Moonlight Park.Win Jet Set Jaunt (Boost Challenge). Then you can unlock her for 105 Stars or more.
To unlock Joe Musashi. He is In World Tour Mode: Twilight Engine win Shinobi Showdown (Versus). Then you Unlock him for 85 Stars or more.
To unlock Metal Sonic. Metal Sonic from Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog CD game is the first downloadable content (DLC) character. His download code (so far confirmed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita & Wii U) is only available to those of you who have bought the Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed Bonus Edition in America or the Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed Limited Edition in Europe.
It is unknown if Sega intends to release Metal Sonic as free or paid DLC after the game's launch period, previously they have not done so, but hopefully they will do it this time.
To unlock NIGHTS. He/She In World Tour Mode: Scorching Skies. Win Carrier Crisis (Sprint). Then you can unlock him/her for 80 Stars or more.
To unlock Pudding, She is in World Tour Mode: Twilight Engine. Win Hatcher Hustle (Sprint). Then you unlock her for 50 Stars or more.
To unlock Shadow, He is in World Tour Mode: Frozen Valley win Seaside Scrap (Versus). Then you Unlock him for 35 Stars or more.
To unlock Vyse, He is In World Tour Mode: Scorching Skies win Rogue Rings (Ring Race). Then you unlock him for 30 Stars or more.
To unlock your Avatar. You have to win all five standard Grand Prix cups. (This is only exclusive for Xbox 360)
To unlock your Mii. You have to win all five standard Grand Prix Cups. (This is exclusive for Wii U and 3ds)
To unlock Pyro on land, Heavy on Water and Spy on air. They are Available from the Steam PC version's character select menu.
To unlock Director of Football. He/She is Available from the Steam PC version's character select menu
To unlock General Winter. He/She is Available from the Steam PC version's character select menu.
