When was the video game Total Annihilation released

Total Annihilation was released on September 30 1997. It was created by Cavedog Entertainment and released by GT Interactive for both PC and Mac. It was the first RTS game to feature both 3D units and terrain. Cavedog Entertainment ceased trading in 1999 and Total Annihilation became the intellectual property of Infogames.
