What is the survival mode of Hexic the puzzle video game

Hexic is a puzzle video game that was released in 2003 on the MSN games website. It was later released for the XBOX 360 and then onto mobiles and tablets. Sequels have also been made for this tile matching game. The game was designed by the creator of Tetris. The aim of the game is to make matches with clusters of flowers. The survival mode challenges the player to clear the playfield but when matches are made, no new pieces fall down.
