What is the plot of the video game Pandemonium

The video game Pandemoniums plot lies with three main characters-- Nikki, Fargus, and his stick-puppet Sid. Essentially, they try to become magicians and accidently stumble upon a book of magic. They use the book and unwittingly summon a demon that eats their entire town. They then look further into the magic book for a solution and embark upon a quest to fix the problem they had made.
