How do newer video games differ from older video games
They are more expensive, they include less actual gameplay, un-original games, the creators now try to make video games art instead of actually making a video game, online gaming has ruined social lives, social media is forced down your throat, the difficulty levels have been stripped of all meaning (easy=press a button once or twice the whole game, hard= easy), graphics are obviously better, but playability is sometimes lacking due to the fact that they forget that it's a game rather than a movie, games get delayed multiple times and never turn out as good as they should have been (BioShock Infinite), the large game magazines are paid to give good reviews so really good games do not get played while crappy annual games such as CoD, Assassins Creed, and Forza Motorsports, and let's not forget that little kids and their parents in the present years can't handle a game such as Manhunt, Bully, or anything pushing the moral boundaries of a human being so game developers stay away from anything cool.
