What movies have a similar stories and adventures to the elder scroll game series

Honestly, this is hard since Elder Scrolls is a stand-alone story. However, if you focus on the Imperials in the lore, you see aspects from the Colonialists of our past, and many great empires such as the Roman Empire. Therefore, movies of these could be similar on that aspect.
For the RPG aspect, Adventure movies set in medieval times, and fantastic worlds would be similar on that aspect.

The depth of these games is astonishing and could never be matched by a single movies, but I encourage you to look around, there are many great movies out there !
