What makes more money Hollywood or video games

Video games make far more money than Hollywood movies. Box office returns in 2012 were not quite 11 billion, while the video game industry in mid 2011 was valued at approximately 65 billion.

The difference might be mainly in the amount. 655 movies were released in theaters in 2012, and in comparison, on the Apple App Store alone there are more than 90,000 game apps, which is just a small part of all the games that are sold (for consoles, PC, etc.).
