What are some new fun virtual worlds for pre-teens
I've played quite a few, World of Warcraft is fun but extremely in depth so don't embellish into that game if you aren't into doing quests and going about a massive world. Runescape is very similar, but in a smaller world and is a bit easier to get the hang of. Also, for Runescape you can play free, which still has many great features but if you really enjoy the game you can upgrade to a paying member, still at a lesser cost than World of Warcraft. Club penguin isn't a game that I have played, but it looks very relaxed and slow going, but depending on your age, you might want to check into different games. Finally, I would recommend League of Legends. It isn't a fully free-roam world, but you can battle other players and level up your character. Those are my choices of games for people your age. Don't worry too much about violence, World of Warcraft may have some blood, as may Runescape, but it would be about a rated T for teen game in my opinion.
