What happens if you play insane mode in the witcher 2

Insane Mode is the hardest difficulty setting on The Witcher 2. Every enemy offers a significant challenge, and a single backstab can end your game prematurely. Insane Mode also uses permadeath - if you die, any save files from that particular playthrough will become flagged as unplayable, you will not be able to load them and continue.
