How do you lift the pillars on jak and daxter

Assuming you're talking about the pillars on Sentinel Beach in Precursor Legacy, you need to go underneath them then uppercut into them by crouching (R1) and punching. Alternatively, you can use punch then jump; this is a little trickier to aim though.
