How do you play free mode in the dsi version of bloons tower defense

1. Once it says you beat level 50 and it says you got a [bronze,silver or gold] medal. Restart the system
2. In the dsi menu select Bloons TD
3. In the Bloons TD menu select "Resume"
4 Enjoy free mode!!
