In Skyrim for Stars that take more then 5 Perks do you need to fill out the whole Star to go on like going from Light Fingers to Night Thief do you need to only add one Perk to continue

You only need to put a single star in those repeatable perks. So you only need to put one point into Light Fingers, to allow you to buy the Night Thief perk (assuming your skill is high enough).
