Does Battlefield 3 have crosshairs

For most weapons,yes.

For sniper rifles, there is no crosshair unless you zoom in using the scope.

In other words, BF3 follows the Counter-strike model for crosshairs.

I'm not sure whether or not you keep the crosshairs in hardcore mode though.
