I am thinking about buying a Nintendo 3DS but have heard bad reviews is it true they hurt your eyes as soon as you look at them and can the console do any lasting damage to the eyes

I never had any problems with my eyes with the 3ds I guess some people do have the problem and some people don't have the problem, if you play for an hour you need to take a break for half an hour that's the recommendation but don't worry nothing will happen to your eyes if you play for 2 or 3 hours max a day.
