Is it absolutely a bad thing for a 20 year old Muslim college guy to enjoy cartoons play video games and never have a summer job

None of it is absolutely bad. It is more important to wonder about what is healthy. If the guy happens to come from a wealthy enough family that summer jobs are not necessary, that is one thing. But even so, such guys can develop a sense of entitlement, an attitude that the family members who generated the wealth almost certainly did not have.

It's all a matter of balance.
