Who dies in Hakuoki

In the anime all the main characters die besides Chizuru and Saito. Some of the side characters survive though. And you can speculate that Hijikata and Harada might have lived as well. But you can't know for sure.

In the video game that the anime was based off of the characters who live and die depend on the choices you make.
