How do you play as your pet on Free Realms

You can't play as your pet but on the bottom of the screen by the chat box is a paw print. If you have pets you click it and choose the pet you want to bring out. You can only bring out one at a time. However, there are some items that can turn you into animals such as Bark Chocolate or the Purple Frog Mask
