How do you go super sonic on the first level of sonic colors

in order to become super sonic, you must:

• collect all the red rings
• complete gameland (sonic simulator) at the top right of the world map
• this will give you the seven chaos emeralds
• go into a normal level (not including bosses)
• collect 50 rings or more
• press the color power button to activate super sonic

an icon should appear where a wisp icon does, it should be the seven chaos emeralds glowing, and i also belive that you gain unlimitied boost while as super sonic. and of course, you are invincible (until you run out of rings)
