Are books better for your brain and eyes than video games

Depends on the type of game and book, how close you are to the tv, how long/often do you read etc.... If its History books and textbooks as opposed to games, that obviously is better as your gaining knowledge, if your playing a game like The legend of Zelda as opposed to reading a book like Percy Jackson, you'll gain more knowledge playing Zelda bc of the puzzles in the temple etc, I <3 gaming but The only way you gain knowledge from it is if you program etc. Like I do.
