How do you get behind an npc in World of Warcraft

It is impossible to get behind an NPC, unless you do one of two things.

1. Have someone tank the mob, which means getting the mobs attention away from you, so you can run around behind the mob.

2. Be a rogue. If a rogue is good, then they can stealth behind the mob and attack it.
