Can you get a Nintendo 3ds for free

Not unless you enter some sort of sweepstakes, but I do not know of any current sweepstakes that have a 3DS as a prize.
you can get it for $1 at tripl play.
Maybe at give-aways, but they are more cheap on E-Bay than at stores.
