do your homework as soon as you get home then give yourself time to play video games. or rest after your school day for 30 - 60 minutes of videogaming then spend time on your homework and reward yourself with video game time when you are done

Make a habit of doing what you need to before what you want to. If you come home, do your homework, do any chores, feed your pets, or whatever else you need to do, it is done. It is out of the way. It is complete. All the rest of your time is free time. You can play away as long as you want, or until your mom kicks you off.
