First of all MMORPG stands for Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. In these types of games you can interact with many other players around the world in a virtual world. These games often involve making an avatar in which you can control their actions and movement.

Examples of MMORPGs: World of Warcraft (very popular, one of the first MMORPGs to ever come out successfully), Runescape, Club Penguin, Dragon Oath, Adventure Quest (this is much more of a RPG than a MMORPG), Fiesta etc.
