How do you make lots of money in fable 3 to eliminate civilian casualties but remain good

You can not do anything while you are the king, but if you buy a lot of shops (not houses, those give too less)before you are king, you can get a lot of personal money per 5 mins, just keep on your xbox while in a quest on a safe spot. No time will past in the game, but it does ofcourse in real time. so if you keep your xbox on long enough. You will have a LOT of money but you won't come anything closer too the ''attack date''
