Why do the eyes of zombies in dead rising turn red at midnight

They turn red at 7 at night, this is to show that they are stronger and more aggressive, and i believe their numbers swell as well. and because of this, I recommend going back to the security room at night if your not that experienced or if you haven't saved recently.
