In World of Warcraft what is the best class to partner up with a mage for pvp and questing

a warlock is good with a mage cause there both range and nice dps well i think it is cause my bro is warlock and im a frost arcane mage and my bro war demonic and we totaly pwned in dungeons pvp, quests, arena's and raids
