How do you upgrade the wave cyclone in Sonic Rush Adventure

yeah you can upgrade the wave cyclone because i have already done it, you just beat the game and then you talk to tails. first you upgrade the waterbike, and then you can continue upgrading the rest of the vehicles. you have to get a lot of materials for each upgrade, so be ready to hunt materials! hope this has helped.
