Can you use a Nvidia 9800GT graphics card with the Packard Bell ixtreme 5622 and if so which one

I have just bought one of these, and have made a couple of observations which may help:

1) the Power supply is not sufficient for most higher end graphics cards, (it's only 250 watts) the 9800GT is not exactly power efficient, so to safely use one, you would need to upgrade the Power Supply Unit, something around 500 watts would probably be safe.

2) the Cooling solutions on 9800s can be a little bulky, depending on the brand, and there's not a lot of space around the PCI-e slot in the 5622, if you can find a fairly low profile one though, you should be able to squeeze one in.

short answer, upgrade your PSU, and get something low profile.
