Is there a device that translates Japanese games into English

There are programs that hook onto game processes in order to pull text from certain games (the only one I can think of off the top of my head is "Oh! Text Hooker"). These programs are usually only good at pulling the text and are often used in conjunction with a separate program to do translations. As with any form of automated translation, differences in English and Japanese grammatical syntax can lead to error-prone and often nonsensical translations. It should be noted that these programs will NOT replace the text in-game, rather it will be displayed in another window which means you won't be able to run the game in fullscreen mode while also using the program if you wish to see the translation (that or use two monitors). Ultimately, your best option is to learn some Japanese or wait for a translation to be released in English.
