What is the best weapon to kill a gobul in monster hunter tri

Gobuls hate fire so use an elemental weapon (fire). I use a plume flint (type of hammer) charge up and start swinging like crazy. Best to kill on land if you can and try to fish them out too (they love frogs more than anything!!!!!!!!!!!).
