Is the game castle wolfenstein based on a true story

Well you can't really say for sure but majority of it had some truth to it. The Nazis did try to create super soldiers that could beat the allies and not have to loose a single soldier. They've failed at building/constructing that due to the fact that the allies were closing in fast and they had ran out of time. Towards the end of the game to the end of the game is true because they did try to rise ancient spirits to help their conquest. Now in the game wolfenstein the new one that just came out Black Sun is a true fact about the Nazis trying to use that ancient power if the Nazis would've succeeded than the war as well as the world would've looked like the games.
