Why does Lego Nightwing have blue lightsaber blades as weapons in Lego Batman sets and the video game

There is not supposed to be lightsaber blades. There supposed to be some sort of neon sticks. In the comic when the first robin leaves batman he becomes nightwing and uses those sticks as weopons.
