What is the best build for a paladin in diablo 2

Hammerdin hands down...it is probably the best build in the whole game. That or wind Druid.

Thewulf777's answer: Id say the smite pally. If you get it right he is god against all monsters(except immune to phys) il put the good build below.


Greif(phaseblade or zerker axe), eth exile pally shield, draculs grasp(gloves) harlequins crest shako or vampiregaze(dmg reduct 20%), b-kathos rings x2,
paladin amulet(or maras if u cant find right pally amulet), vdungos belt, wartravs boots, and fhr/vita small charms, pally helfire torch, annihilious
Switch: CTA(any weapon type) and spirit monarch (for buffing) that should do it, and the skill alignment you should already know if not, 20 smite, 20 holy shield 20 fanat, 20 defiance and then any other skill you might want. Enjoy.
