When does King Mickey first appear in the Kingdom Hearts Collection

The first time that King Mickey ever appeared in the entire series was, if I can remember correctly, at the very end of the first game, during a cutscene involving opening the DTD, and the King was in there. I may be mistaken, but this is what i can remember.
