How do you get a giaprey scale in monster hunter freedom unite

Snowy Mountain: remember those Velociraptor like or dinosaur like monsters, they are called Giaprey. kill one and then carve from its remains by pressing "o".
better be fast cos their remains doesn't last long.

you'll get some of their parts like giaprey hide, giaprey claw and your GIAPREY SCALE is there also.
